The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology on January 3rd 2025 released the draft rules for the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 [(DPDPA)] for public feedback, open until February 18th 2025 on the [MyGov Portal].
The DPDPA is India’s comprehensive data protection law, designed to protect the personal data of individuals and ensure accountability in the processing of such data.
